<\/span>Beau Underwood<\/span><\/span> is the senior minister of <\/span>Allisonville<\/span> Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Indianapolis, Indiana and a contributing editor to <\/span>Word&Way<\/span>. He holds graduate degrees in both religion and public policy. Together, they are the coauthors of Baptizing America: How Mainline Protestants Helped Build Christian Nationalism and write at A Public Witness, a <\/span>Substack<\/span> that examines the intersection of religion, politics, and culture.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
