Seasonal Retreats & Experiences

Arts Retreat for Advent

Slow down during the busy Advent season through creative and contemplative practices. Participants move between a shared space for fellowship and art-making and a quiet area for reflection, prayer, or rest.
Includes a guided project such as prayer beads, painted icons, or devotional candles, along with time for personal creativity. The experience concludes with optional group sharing.

Colorful Advent Journey (4-Week Online Series)

A peaceful Advent experience centered on prayer, reflection, and creativity. Each week explores a different spiritual practice connected to the Advent candles, including Ignatian Examen, intercessory prayer, Lectio Divina, and centering prayer.


Mini Lenten Retreat

Enter into the sacred rhythm of Lent through meaningful, hands-on experiences. Participants may walk a labyrinth, engage with interactive Stations of the Cross, listen to guided meditation, and journal their reflections.


Winter Reflections (4-Week Online Series)

A gentle space between Advent and Lent to rest and reconnect. Using contemplative coloring and Lectio Divina, participants are guided to read, reflect, respond, and rest in Scripture.


Cider and Leaves

Celebrate the beauty and meaning of autumn through reflection and creativity. Participants paint leaves, listen to guided meditation, journal, and enjoy warm cider while considering the spiritual rhythms of rest and renewal.

Creative & Hands-On Workshops

Card Ministry Workshop

Create handmade cards while exploring how a card ministry can bring encouragement to those who are isolated, grieving, or far from home. This workshop offers both hands-on creativity and practical ideas for starting a ministry in your church.

Lavender Stamp-a-Stack Card Workshop

Engage your senses through Scripture, creativity, and fellowship. Participants enjoy a lavender-themed experience with guided meditation, card-making, and light refreshments, while reflecting on the spiritual symbolism of lavender.

Prayer Bead Workshop

Explore the history and meaning of prayer beads across Christian traditions. Participants create their own set and are guided in how to use them as a tool for prayer and reflection.

Rocks Workshop

Reflect on the biblical symbolism of rocks as strength and refuge. Participants paint meaningful scripture-based rocks—one to keep and one to share—ending with a Lectio Divina experience.

Praying in Color

Discover a creative and accessible way to pray using color and simple patterns. This practice is especially meaningful for visual learners, those who struggle with traditional prayer forms, and intergenerational settings.

Prayer & Spiritual Practices

Centering Prayer

A simple, contemplative practice that helps participants rest in God’s presence. This workshop combines silence, breath, and optional meditative coloring to deepen focus and awareness.


Spiritual Practices Workshop

An introduction to a variety of ways to connect with God, including Lectio Divina, Visio Divina, breath prayer, guided meditation, journaling, and the Examen. Churches may choose a full experience or select specific practices.


Labyrinth Workshop

Experience prayer through movement using labyrinth walking. Participants are guided to listen for God through the physical and spiritual journey, reflecting the twists and turns of life and faith.


Roots Workshop

Explore what it means to be grounded in Christ during life’s challenges. Through art, writing, storytelling, and guided meditation, participants reflect on how faith sustains and strengthens us.

Ministry Development & Outreach

How to Start a Prayer Shawl Ministry

Learn how to begin and sustain a meaningful care ministry that offers comfort and connection. Participants spend time stitching, sharing, and praying together.
Participants bring their own supplies; some resources available.


Earth Care Workshop

A hands-on, intergenerational experience focused on caring for God’s creation. Includes discussion, creative activities, and practical ideas for engaging your church in environmental stewardship.
